SAS is making a difference in people’s lives all around the world. The analytics software helps  organizations make the kinds of important decisions that drive change each and every day.  Being more secure than any other language and a close source language SAS has a major job market. Developers test algorithms in a protected environment making SAS always bug-free. It has very helpful customer support mechanisms.

The Gurus organizes SAS training courses periodically for the people who are passionate about Statistical Programming. The Gurus launched “Summer Training for SAS Programmers” from the 1st of August to the 1st of October.

We chose 30 applicants out of 50 to take part in 2-month training during which the first wave experts of the country in the field mentored the students. An extensive training program was designed to transfer knowledge of SAS to prepare the graduates for their first full-time career at The Gurus. We provided an excellent opportunity to explore the world of data and analytics. The Gurus focused on career goals of our interns and helped them to achieve their career objectives. 

Together with the interns we looked if SAS could bring them the right internship experience. The Gurus isn’t just looking for graduates. We’re looking for the right graduates. Through the program, students were able to learn SAS programming language .From the first day they contributed, worked hard and were challenged to push themselves. Our full-time, internship was designed to bridge the gap between academic life and their first full-time role at Gurus.
At the end of the training the candidates took two exams and the ones who passed joined our team. From now on this kind of internships will be continued.

The Gurus is also planning to open a training centers in Ijevan and Vanadzor.
